Hair Tips

Before you start blow drying your hair, add a volumizing spray to your roots. This will give your locks some added lift.

Always rinse out conditioner (which should go on hair ends) with cold water to seal the cuticle and promote shine.

Avoid frizz: Use only a widetooth comb, especially when hair is dry.

Simply adding a teaspoon of vinegar to your final hair rinse can be effective in treating dry tresses. You could also mix 2 cups of water with one-half cup of vinegar, massage it into your hair after you shampoo, and leave it in for several minutes — up to an hour — before rinsing

Baby oil is great to add to your daily moisturizing routine for a bit of extra sheen. In a pinch, a pea-sized amount can act as a shine hair serum before dashing out the door.
Didn't have time to wash your hair today? Take a big makeup brush and dab it in loose powder (either baby or face powder). Tap it once to remove the excess before applying to your roots. This will help soak up any extra oil and dirt.
To tame flyaways, spritz a round brush with hairspray and work through your hair roots to tip. This way, you'll have hold, bounce, and no frizz.

A dime-sized amount of olive oil is great to use on wet, curly hair. This will help prevent frizz when your locks dry and your hair won't be stiff from too much product.
Have an itchy, flaky scalp? Squeeze lemon juice over the crown of your head. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse. The acidity from the lemon juice will naturally exfoliate your skin and clear up any dandruff.
